Gangrene is female, although none can recognize her as such. Suffering from severe leprosy, cysts and oozing of puss, she is a true monster to behold. Is she human? part human? an undying even or a monster? something else?
She is slightly literate, half and a quarter blind, and appears to have suffered some sort of brain trauma.
A strong, hideous smell emanates from her, from a combination of not washing, rotting flesh and severe infections, which can be smelled up to 25 meters away. Many try to stay far away from her, and those who come close are enthusiastically greeted by her rotting smile, which causes an even fouler smell to come from her mouth.
