A dashing youth of House Vulparan, Florian carries himself with the unshaken confidence of a young knight who has yet to taste the bitterness of defeat. Golden locks of hair - an uncommon sight amongst his kin - spills over his yet-unburdened shoulders, as if the sun itself has granted him favour. His features are strong but softened by youth. What he perceives as grace imbues his every movement, though to some it may actually appear as youthful arrogance, betraying his hunger for glory and honour by the sword.

Florian is typically soft-spoken and charismatic; he was described as 'swift of tongue, but not swift-witted' by a brave scholarly tutor. He is, however, quick to anger if he judges that a slight has been made against him or those that he values. He regards this is part of the staunch duty of a nobleman, sworn to defend his house, lord, and realm from danger and slander - both real and perceived.

There is a restless energy about Florian wherever he goes, as if the weight of his armour and the oaths he bears do not yet fully anchor him to any physical place. His gleaming mail and carefully polished plate are kept in near-perfect condition. A fine cloak, clasped with an ornately-carved vulpine pin, drapes across his shoulders. His stance is proud, shoulders held square, but how he moves betrays a certain untested exuberance when compared with the tempered and considered poise of veterans. He dreams of jousts and stories of battles sung proudly in taverns with an idealism afforded only to privileged noble youth. Naïve, perhaps, but gallant without measure; he rides not only in protection of his realm, those he serves, and those who serve him, but also for the faultless image of what he holds the notion of a knight to be: an unassailable vision of chivalry that burns brighter than the worldly truth. Nevertheless, he intends to make this vision reality by his own hand.
