Gaheris began his career in Perleone just as Ark's Rebellion ended, helping preside over the Perleoni Rensaissance - a period in which Perleone bloomed from a lonely and forgotten realm of three regions to a mighty Empire spanning the South. Gaheris fought in the Federate War, serving as Banker and Ambassador during this time, a war that saw to the liberation of Ibladesh City.

Since the liberation of Ibladesh, Gaheris has served as Lord of the City and Duke of the Duchy of the White City, the jewel of the South. As Ambassador of Perleone, Gaheris played a key role in drafting a new treaty of friendship with Sydgard, Alara's successor realm, as well as the Imperial Charter, bringing Vix Tiramora, Perdan, and Sydgard into the Empire of Perleone.

An accomplished mage never seen without his staff, Gaheris used magic to great effect during the Federate War, and famously brought back King Kay of Perdan from the clutches of death itself on the fields of Brive.
