Larur

Description

A small strip of land separating Chesland from Paisland. Larur has not only served to facilitate trade between the two urban centres, but promoted their war as well. Serving as a highway between Terran and Aurvandil Larur is often flooded by Astroist armies marching South on their crusades. Soldiers swarm the roads and their numerous camps and military outposts dot the green, rolling countryside; colourful flags and banners flying high, waving in the strong coastal winds. The peasants for their part have shouldered the weight of this occupation diligently, and in spite of unruly foreigners, high taxes and constant confiscations of food, they have been able to maintain a prosperous lifestyle.
