Description

Nebel is situated just off Port Nebel and leads the way to Qubel. The natural cliff walls and high ground provides protection from any source of invasion and seasonal floods. It is a flatland for the most part, but filled with many different variations of agriculture due to its rich soil. This allows for the trade of the finest grains, fruits and vegetables the land has to offer.

From Port Nebel its mother city it benefits with small trades in fish also sharing some of their resources, such as metal, wood and stone.

Bordering Qubel is a large valley where sits a large vineyard, which makes the area popular for its abundance in fine wines.

Nebel proper is famous for its mild weather and gastronomy hosting yearly events to commemorate the many different harvests throughout the year.

Summer hosts several festivals for the fruit gatherings and the making of honey. Autumn celebrates the picking of grapes as nobles are invited to participate in the actual wine making process. Winter is reserved for the cultivation of nuts, making sweet butters and rare jams which leads to a large scale of dessert delicacies. Providing a tempting appeal, inviting nobles from the furthest reaches of the realm to visit and take part in large celebrations of food and wine tasting.

On a darker note, Nebel is home to the Azure Vale, a place of untold horror. The vale has an unnatural chill that lasts even in the summer months. It is here an unnamed warlord and his armies conducted the most heinous of crimes. The women and children of Nebel were brought to this place after the men had been killed, and the warlord gave one prisoner to each of his soldiers with instructions to kill their prisoner on his signal. On that day 4000 people died in one instant due to the actions of one man. Those who stay in the Vale report hearing whispers and murmurs, and having nightmares. Some never return at all.
