Region Details

Description

The wildlands of Ciarin Tut are vast, spreading across most of the vast and seemingly endless pastures. With livestock grazing on the fertile lands across the countryside, it is very much a breadbasket fief. Nishi Sagarifuji-dono sits a fair distance from several bustling villages, albeit close enough to be stocked with local produce. The elegant manor is atypical of regional architecture, having been constructed by the Lady Fujiwara-no-Kaguya out of hardwood in the ancient traditional style of Old Yamatai from across the world ocean. The immediate lands surrounding the manor are the part of the region that birthed Ciarin Wildbrew, a local drink with vibrant flavours from the Dwilight Mediterranean's many fruits - Apples, avocados, cherries, and strawberries.

The plantations of Ciarin Tut are strewn along the coast and contain the largest permanent settlement in the region. The local manor is named Graceview Estate, named from before the plantations grew. The commonfolk here have a tradition where every midweek's night, they would throw a small celebration known only as the Ciaria, taken from the name of the region. A night to take a break from farming, to drink Wildbrew and to dance and sing. In the harvest season, it goes on for just an hour a week instead of the whole night.

Lastly, the excavated Ruins of Ciarin Tut form the final area of significance in the fief. Where much folklore existed of heroes dwelling in these lands, ruins of temples were uncovered and old texts found, revealing that there was at least some truth in what had become legends. The locals took pride in this, soon living in the temples where the structures were sound and tending to flora and fauna nearby. A noble dwelling was constructed in this area and named the Manor of the Hero Pavus, designed by the late Lord Dorian of House Pavus, a warrior and hero of the Hegemony of Luria Nova.
