Description

Giask.

From north to south, not one is greater. From east to west, only one is maybe able to rival her. Giask is the kind of city one visits a dozen times and still has exploring left to do. Vast and legendary are truly words worthy of her. The scope of everything is just beyond anything seen in other places. Where the coquina beds rise from the Euschean a massive harbor exists. Merchants ships from across the continent call her home. Huge cranes stand like hunched giants over the ships as they moor and unload. An endless stream of goods pour into the city and breathe life into her. 

A city rich in all the cultures brought to her by the vast amounts of trade that visits her. Where the streets are full of people and arts and poetry and culture thrive so too do the many exotic and tropical plants that line her boulevards and inhabit her grand parks. The number of public buildings such as baths and theaters and Lyceums total beyond counting and the generosity of the Lords and Ladies of Giask is reflected in the beautification of the Great City. Where slums and suburbs exists outside of the Colossal City Walls do inside a hive of mixed humanity thrive on trade and interwoven culture. 

Large swaths of the City are styled in Ancient Vesperi, some in Pian en Luries and yet again some parts are even in the archaic Fissoan style. From when merchant houses brought such trends to the Big city. A metropolis in the truest sense of the word you will ever find on all of Dwilight. Giask knows many markets and many places of beauty, Statues of old are maintained and heroes long dead still have their legacy remembered and honored. A place where Kings and Paupers are born and everyone has a true chance to grasp destiny and make something out of themselves.

A city of thousands, a home to all and a mother of realms.
