Paisly

Description

The glorious city of Paisly, jewel of the Maroccidens and bridge between the continent and the Dragon Isles. It used to be one of the greatest cultural centers of the South, perhaps the most important trading hub, and, for most of its history, the most prosperous city of D'Hara.

While Paisly stood strong against most of the starvation that hit the urban realm over the years, it did not escape the full wrath of the last global drought, where most of its citizen died, unable to find any sustenance for themselves.

Taking advantage of the situation, some squatters decided to come to the city with a vast army before the D'Haran government had time to come back for their people. But as happened when such things took place elsewhere in D'Hara, the usurpers were mercilessly overthrown, the worshipful locals overjoyed to return within the Merchant Republic once more.
