Rolbury

Description

Rolbury consists of two main areas, the Central Lake and the North Lowlands.
Many small, isolated villages dot the countryside in the lowlands, none any more than 500 inhabitants. Cereals of all types are grown at these farming villages, but wheat is the staple crop. This resulted in a few low-key breweries that provide the region with smooth light ale. Though it has not been very successful beyond it's borders, visitors are able to experience the pale lager fresh from its source.
Any food crop not required by the villagers for survival is usually shipped out via a crude but effective road system, to the largest village, roughly 800 people at maximum population, which lies on the edge of the central lake. This village is the center of Rolbury's culture; the spring festival and the fall harvest are the two major holidays celebrated. Bright multicolored clothing is worn in honor of these occasions, providing a break to the peasant’s otherwise dreary existence.

From here, Rolbury's exports of mainly grain, textiles and leather are taken to city markets and exchanged for tools, cattle and metal.
