Tahgalez

Description

Deep in the center of the desert, Tahgalez represents the epitome of strength and perseverance of mankind. Severe drought has been known to frequent the desert stronghold, a bastion of life surrounded by a vast sea of sand. Sandstorms are commonplace near the fall season as the sun begins to fade earlier behind the mountains of Watersdown.

The winter winds are bone chilling and the summer months are unbearable at times. The citizens of Tahgalez find respite in spring, holding festivals and ceremonial gatherings almost daily. This Citadel of Life boasts a large marketplace and ruins, both ancient and new, of the many realms that came before within it's night-black walls.

The Tower of Illuminating Shadows can be seen from the far edges of the sand sea and is said to act as a beacon for those who are lost, seeking gold or opportunity.
