Description

Bolkenia is a small, peaceful region of gentle rolling farmland and serene, tranquil countryside. With green hills that look over the Enotian sea and rich forests filled with colourful fauna and vibrant flora. Visitors often spend their time bewildered by the natural wonder of Bolkenia. The villages that populate the region are nestled within this landscape, straddled across rivers and resting within the background of forests. Life within Bolkenia is simple. Time is mostly spend working on farms, producing for the neighbouring cities. The people of Bolkenia thrive on the natural freedom the landscape provides for them.

The capabilities of Bolkenia have led to major developments for the quality of life of the people. The high levels of agricultural produce has created a thriving trade, both in and out of the region. This has led to the development of local specialities. One such example, within the village of Blackreach, is the development of a local whiskey called Blackreach Special Reserve. A highly sought after product utilising the natural woodland, the fresh water and local crops in production.

Bolkenia rests at the end of the peninsula. Nestled between the city of Irombro and the coast. The aged stone ruins, from a time of war and plague, still dwell across the landscape. As nature began to reclaim the ruins, with great green vines climbing the decaying walls, the landscape became one of peace once again. They have now become a symbol of the hardiness of the people.
