Wheling is a treacherous region. It was left to its own devices during the Great Freeze and was continually pillaged by monsters.

While the region was cleansed of the infestation, the villagers whisper stories of people disappearing. In particular, all that dared to enter the former Enweil burial grounds looking for treasure have never returned.
