Description

Geography

Bisana's landscape is basically one large, cold rocky tundra.
The local flora culture though, is one of the broadest and rarest on the island.
Rare plants and herbs can be found here.
The locals have a very old tradition of using specific herbs as medicines, some plants are also used as food.
These plants are not quite a delicates, but there very nutritious.
Only the most clever amongst animals are fully aware of this and migrate to Bisana especially for these sources of food.

But not only foxes, ferrets and birds feel attracted to Bisanas hills.
A group of horses of very small breed immigrated to Bisana a long time ago.
For a long time, these noble creatures have served as vigilant cavalry in the army of Fronen.
They are called "Punda's Pony's" named after an old lord of this region, sir count Punda.

Bisana is the most northern tundra region without forests or woods in Fronen, it is thus the coldest and windiest amongst the Republic, there for it is not commonly used as travel roads by the Republic army.

Culture and Folklore

The people of Bisana are a hard working religious village people.
The people of the tundra are not real drinkers like the Mhedians, they only tend to drink a few gulps of herb whiskey in the winter periods to keep each other warm.
The drink is popular amongst northern regions attached to the Qual river Forrest.

Bisana is also known for the Chifro, a horn made out of local pine wood, it generates a high noisy sound, heard for over several miles.
It is known to scare off many kinds of predator animals.
In summer time it is used as a musical instrument combined with the Benjin drums.
The Benjin drums are made from horse leather.
When ever a horse gets sick or old, the horse is slaughtered and eaten at special calibrations, the skin is used to make the drums, who make a deep hollow sound.
