Region Details

Description

Rengo, according to legend, was named after the wife of the first settler of the region. She was said to be a cold woman, quick to anger but when pleased would be especially warm towards people. Many who know this legend say her spirit lingered after death and that the weather and land of Rengo are mercy to her whims.  As such, the region accepts most warmly female leaders whom embody the traits of its ancestors.

Legend also tell of the lords manor in Rengo being haunted by a young lord named Cassius who hung himself in his study after constantly failing his duke. They say that his foot steps can be heard right before you fall asleep and if you have I'll natured thought against your leige lord, the ghost of Cassius will come for you.

In the fall and winter many would view Rengo as an unattractive region with brown tundra coated in ice and snow and frequented by short, but bitter, winter storms. In the summer, however, the last of the ice melts away revealing tall green grasses and a variety of colorful flowers that grow on the sloping hills aided by the gentle rain storms that cover the region for a time after the thaw.
