Pomatim

Description

The region of Pomatim is the largest food producer north of the Jedinchel mountains. Most of it's population lives as tenants on the Lord's lands. They are required to contribute no less than half of their yield: luckily the soil is fertile, and most can still live in comfort. 

The region became well known because of the Battle of Pomatim, where the Daimon Horrors were faced by a unmatched coalition of soldiers from Thalmarkin, Old Grehk, Melhed and Fronen. In this battle the Overlord was subsequently wounded by several commanders (including King Fingolfin the Great), and in the end killed. The people of Pomatim, being threatened by slavery and torture, will never forget this feat, nor will it's Lord at the time, Marshal Yusklin Melphrydd. A plaque commemorating the events has been placed at the site of the battle.
