Region Details

Description

The large green pastures of Greatbridge span all the way from the outskirts of Krimml in the east to the flatlands of Hagley and Dulbin out in the west. Fields covered with crops stretch across the land for several miles in every direction over the horizon.

Atop a small hill near the center, lies the old yet well maintained mansion of the local lord, neighboring two smaller buildings for the local administrative staff. Surrounding the hill are traces of a once sturdy palisade which have since been demolished.

A well maintained network of roads spanning across the region, conveniently connect the neighboring regions from the vast flatlands of Bruck to the heavy forests of Braga, making Greatbridge a hub for traders and merchants when transporting goods. Several guild houses from different organizations can be seen scattered across the lands each with its own cultural decoration.

The locals around are simple farmers having not much preference for entertainment except a few local bars located in more densely populated areas of the region. From time to time, the local folk may travel to Krimml or Oligarch in search of entertainment not available to rural regions. Hunting is also a normal pastime around, limited mainly by the landscape.

The local produce are pretty common except for their local fruit the duran, a mace looking fruit that have a unique fragrance that may be too strong for some.
