Knights of Thal,

I am Alyn Fontaine, a knight of Nothoi, and like many a refugee of old Atamara. I did my duty there as a warrior and cavalier for many years before her shores sunk beneath the waves. My family were among the last to leave.

I have fought battles, killed fiends, fought duels and executed traitors. I have been Baron of a desolate peak; Duke of Forests... a templar and sometimes rogue.

Yet, I grow bored. As I grow older and more tired I need the comfort of companionship. I need a manor, with knights and peasants to rule. I need brothers and sisters, a temple, and faith.

I am unencumbered by debt, and free of bans (a story for another day). I shall serve you loyally as knight in whatever capacity you desire. Should it come to pass, I would very much like to raise my own temple of Daisha here in your lands and become its priest... but until that time, I shall serve.
