Unfortunately, the Dynamic Map that we have been using for some time—based on the OpenLayers library—has become much more of a chore to fix and update than is really warranted. I've been working on a replacement for a while, but it's not quite ready yet, and the OpenLayers map has really broken now. Thus, for the time being, aside from the main link on the Information page, I have replaced all the links to the full-size OpenLayers map with links to the Political Map. I have also replaced all the instances of the minimap (which also used OpenLayers) that are for a single region with the static images for those regions.
Once I have it fully working, my intention is to replace all the existing maps with the new map, including all the minimaps.

Recently, I made a change that accidentally stopped the game from reliably recording your characters' individual last login times. That caused some characters to get inactivity warnings and even lose positions; I apologize for these issues. I have fixed the underlying bug, and your characters will now be properly marked as played when you click through to them.

Starting this coming Sunday, I'll be on vacation for 2 weeks—the first time I've been away for an extended period since I became the only admin. I'm doing my best to ensure that the game is as stable as possible before I go, but if bugs do come up, please be patient, report them to the Bugtracker (checking first to see if someone else has already reported), and I will fix them when I return.

Update: Despite some detours, the Wiki and Forum are now upgraded to the latest versions!
With apologies for the 1-day delay, I am beginning maintenance on the Wiki and Forum. This should take no more than a couple of hours if all goes well. I will update this news post when the maintenance is finished.
