The Princess of Perleone is very serious about familial duties and responsibilities towards her realm, and enjoys a philosophical discussion. Not exceptionally beautiful or very worried about her fashion style, she is considered pretty, in a natural way. Mary Anne wears her long auburn locks loosely tied, decorated with flowers or a piece of jewelry, the left side always covering her scarred ear (from a battle with Alara). Her honey coloured eyes will draw a stranger in when they smile and push them away when they darken with despise.
Her best physical feature is undoubtedly her lips, that can change her countenance from strict to lovely in a second. She isn't too short, but not tall either. Arms and shoulders show her archery practice and the nimble hands hold a few scars from using needles and scalpels when she studied healing. She's also a skilled rider and horse trainer like most Bluelakes.

Mary Anne's lineage traces back to kings and queens of Atamara, but she grew up in the Bluelake Manor in Dwilight. As usual in her family, was taught the basics in courtly etiquette, swordfighting, war strategy and some speechwriting. Her cousin Niall de la Fere particularly tried teaching her how to brandish a sword, but more often than not she'd skip the lesson to ride or read. She is religious in nature, but still seeking a faith that will answer her inner musings.
